Butactik is the unique system of self-defence which is derived from many types of karate. By using only the simplest, most effective techniques it has mutated self defence to match the changing world around. Those techniques that looked cool and did not work have been adapted and modified to work.
Butactik has been around since about 1986, it was created by a Police Officer(5th degree black belt in ninjitsu,ect.) who realized that karate was a good concept if it could be made to work with the changing world, this is why Butactik is ever changing. I have been practicing Butactik for 7 years and I still have much more to learn.
Butactik system is effective not only on other martial artists, but also on boxers, wrestlers and the common thug. Students are tought to fight in situations using sparing, grappling, and controling techniques.
There are only 7 training centers for Butactik Karate(listed below), but it is still growing because now is when all the black belts are just emerging from the topsoil of this growing system. Alain chief instructor of Butactik is always hard at work finding new ways to make techniques work better.
Butactik system of Labrador City has reciently started a Karate Fun Group for thouse of us who are not quite old enough to join karate yet.
